I got one thank you OP!
I love Yankee candles but it's the lucky dip/surprise element that sucked me in
I'm curious about the cyramics - if they're crap then I'm sure the school fayre will be happy this summer! :rotfl:0 -
HUGE yankee fan here
(burning berry jam as we speak)
i didnt go for this
its a lot of ceramics, and you dont get to choose what
burners MUST match decor in our house:o
we burn them in 8 rooms, and they all match their room
anyways
it says in the breakdown, votives, £2
and at the bottom of the same email it says all votives £1
so their prices dont tally at all
you are not getting much candle for your money in this
yankee fans have all the ceramics they need already
not the best offer from YD
i think they are offloading all the stuff they cant sell i'm afraid:(0 -
This is hotdeals break down of the deal:

I think the cheapest way to buy from Yankee Doodle is to get the samplers. They're nearly all £1 each, last up to 15 hours burn time. I bought some of the clear glass votive holders at £1.25 which extend the burn time as they stop the wax running down the holder.
The samplers don't give as big a pool of wax as the jars, but they still fill the room with fragrance. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Never realised until today that Yankee Doodle are no longer stocking new Yankee Candle products and are just running stock down.

Even more of a bargain if you split the votives in half and burn like you would a tart.
I love Yankee and have a lot of jars, but you get a bigger throw with the tarts, plus the jars turn your walls and ceilings black :happyloveBaby girl born 27/2/12:happylove

The reed diffuser I bought was expensive (about £18 I think?) but it kept the room smelling nice for a few months. I'd recommend them for teenage boys rooms!! It was called midsummer, or something like that. A very male smell, but lovely too.
EDIT - this one http://www.yankee.co.uk/yankee-candles/2173/midsummers_night_br_reed_diffuser.aspx?expandable=6
Cheaper than I thought.52% tight0 -
My local branck of clintons had a few 'flavours' of the samplers half price today - works out less than £1, I think they end up being about 85-90p? Can't remember how much they were full price. They had a lilac one. Also sun and sands (pink candle) and wedding day jars half price, large and small0

Anyone got their pack yet? It's out of stock but says you can register for the next offering.....OH loves the candles but not sure how many you get compared to the other ceramics - £80 worth sounds a lot but they are quite expensive so wondering how much they will actually send out as he won't like the accessories....can imagine it to be very exciting getting the package though LOL!Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -
I haven't got mine yet, I am quite excited! I think I need to get out more. I aren't expecting everything to be something that I would have chosen but the idea was to maybe make up a few presents out of what I do get, use some of it myself and donate the really bad stuff to the school tombola. I just wish it would hurry up, although order status says not been packed yet.
I will put a list on once I have received it.0
