i finally joined fb last night. was up till gone 2am. i have NO IDEA ATALL whats goin on...nowt new there then. anyway, try and work this mess out...

the answer (after over 90mins on google images) is camden town tube, platform 1, northbound, edgware branch.enter variants of...on the 3rd link.

    main intel fb page

    the facebook photo

entry app thing, i clicked like???

now, the terms, right?! it says the first draw ends fri, (so theyll be another next week?) but then it says the draw will end if someone answers correctly?!

Entrants must respond correctly to one question to qualify for the draw. Two entrants qualified for the draw will be chosen at random as winners. The Promotion will run from 11/05/2012-25/05/2012. A participant can only give one answer to each question, two questions in total. Further answers by the same participant will not be taken into account. Participants understand that the Prize Draw stops when a participant gives the correct answer, which can happen at any time before the end of the week (official end date for the Prize Draw). Subsequent entries will be automatically disqualified. Entries become the property of Intel and will not be returned. The draw will take place on the closing day.

searched, soz if dupe. i hope it isnt, nearly killed me trying to make sense of this!

Thanks for posting Sherbie. I think these intel ones are getting posted as one thread (here) in normal section Competition Time and bumped each time there is a new competition. Not my personal preference but it's whats happening so I'll request a merge.

Sorry the way this has been done isn't your personal preference,it really isn't mine either but when I first started posting weekly comps and not doing them this way i was told a few times and (sometimes rudely)by a few users that this is the way it is done so that is quite reluctantly what I decided to do with all weekly comps I post.To have people now say that it isn't there personal preference really quite offends me to be honest ,I am damned if I do and damned if don't ,how can you explain, am I to please every user in the way I post my comps ?

i cant do right fer doing wrong either chelsea1969, but im 100% sure that the above comment wasnt meant in a horrible way. even if ive not done owt wrong, i'll often get someone piping up about an imagined issue, always posted/thanked by the same folk. the tiny minority of mean folk, are greatly outweighed by the good folk, which is why i keep posting. you are loved ere chelsea1969. :kisses:

Hi Chelsea, sorry if that came across as rude, I didn't mean for it to be at all. I think the way you've psoted the comp is perfectly fine, and I don't have a problem with it. Since all the debate a while ago I think it's completely up to the poster whether they post as one thread or as separate threads.

I only said it wasn't my personal preference as I don't really use the "weekly" sticky in regulars so I only find the threads like this as I amble through the main board. I then bookmark the thread and try to remember to come back to it each week. For me, I just find it easier if it's a new thread each week as then I can see the prize, question, end date in one quick view and click the "enter" tick for the whole thread. That probably doesn't explain it very well but I'm just trying to say why my way of entering is suited more to the separate threads method.

Like I said though I was in no way was having a go at anyone for posting in any particular method. I am actually trying to make a big effort with the weekly comps to try and keep up with them. Please keep posting however you feel works best, I'm grateful for your posts and everybody else is too.

Edit: Also was in no way meant to come across as rude to sherbie if I did. I just thought a merge should be requested as they were both on the main board and wanted to prevent people duping.

Drumroll please.... we're delighted to announce that the winner of our Ultrabook competition is Johnny Chatterton, who guessed correctly that the Ultrabook advert was at London's Camden Town Underground station! Congratulations Johnny! We'll be in touch to arrange to get your brand new Acer Aspire S3 Ultrabook to you. Everyone else... this isn't the last of the Ultrabook competitions so watch this space, and better luck next time!
