    It is too late now for a change in tax code - any tax due back will have to be reclaimed once he has his P60..your son has been on code BR - which means he pays a straight 22% of his earnings. All he needs to do is write to his tax office...give details of any other jobs he has had and his code will be sorted out. Best not to wait for the P60 as this can take some weeks - sort out the code ready for April first and then claim the repayment for this year when he has his P60
    I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes ;)
