That's of no relevance.
The fact is that over 95% of those in full time work before the recession are still in full time work today.
And there will be little change to that number in the years ahead. And out of those how many will still be in a few years time as the crisis worsens?
The worst is well behind us now, and unemployment won't rise much from here. It'll be a few years before it starts falling significantly mind you.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

We'll see, but I believe you are wrong. I believe you also said this 2 years ago, including there won't be a double dip.
The Euro will effect us more than anything. The problem surrounding the euro is putting a time frame on it.0 -

I'm with you Graham and I would go as far to say that anyone who thinks the worst is behind us has no idea what is going on in the world. The problems that caused the global crisis have not been solved they have just been made worse but postponing into the future.Imagine if China started paying housing benefit the same as the UK. Half a billion people would move from the slums in tin can huts to all these new apartments they are building every year. Property prices would double from where they are now.0 -

What majority of these are in your 95% still in full time jobs but with no/low wage increase and ever increasing daily costs to heat/fuel/eating etc?0 -
Also I am with Graham on this. This circle has a long way to go.0

It's really time the mods did a clear out of sockies again.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

This sort of stock response when stuck over so many threads is getting tiring. Silver get's more mentions from those mocking it than those investing in it.0 -

Except in this instance, it really is just another of the silver sockies.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Here....gold and silver .
and here.....But why not get a hidden safe for your bullion. Does anyone really keep their silver bars under the bed?
Now sprinkle in a bit of currency debasement....This is why they are abusing the pound sterling. The race to debase all currencies around the world is well under way..
And top with the always popular line....until interest rates correct to more normal levels and all the repossessions have been cleared out.
Now, why does that one sound so familiar?
Ahhhh, yes.....
Because the same puppetmaster uses it with multiple accounts.Bigdeflationfirst wrote: »until interest rates normalise and all the repossessions have been cleared out.interest rates are back up to more normal levels and all the repossessions have been cleared out.until interest rates correct to more normal levels and all the repossessions have been cleared out.
So, does that mean we'll also find The Joker and BDF going on about Silver???
I wonder....Ha yes I am faithful to the cause, the SLA
We are all the same, we will never sell our silver no matter how high the paper 'price' goes..Bigdeflationfirst wrote:]Dont worry with the spot price of silver getting suppressed so low I can buy more than 1 0z and more often then once per month
I think my work here is done.....“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
