Mortgage application advice

Hello
I am hoping to apply for a mortgage very soon. I am a first time buyer with a 10% deposit. My credit history is good. I have had several accounts in the past all paid on time and now only have 1 loan and car finance agreement which are both up to date. However, I have 1 single late payment on a credit card account which was about 3 years ago. Other than that all my payments have always been up to date. I just wonder if it is likely that I would get refused a mortgage becasue of this?
I have seen on Post Office mortgages website that they would accept a maximum of 2 consecutive late payments within last 3 years so I think I woudl be OK if I applied to them but I wonder if other lenders are likely to view this as a problem or not?
I don't want to apply somewhere else and risk getting declined as that will damage my credit score further.
Any advice or past experience would be really helpful.

Nobody can say for 100%, however it would seem bar that 1 blemish you have a good history. I would be confident 99% of lenders would accept you unless they were looking for silly reasons not to accpt people.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Thanks - I went in to Halifax today who I bank with and a chat to them and they assured me it woudl be very unlikely to be a problem with them especially if I have a good relationship with them so I feel better about this now.0
