Agreement in principle!

Hello. I am thinking of getting an Agreement in principle before I start looking and bidding on any house.

1) is there any where online I can get this without leaving a mark on my credit rating?
2) How much does it matter if it does leave a mark ?

Thanks for your help!

    1) Ones that don't leave a mark are often not worth they paper they are written on.
    2) 99% of the time, it doesn't matter. Hopefully you won't be part of the 1%.

I wouldn't bother unless you have credit score concerns.
