Three local estate agents have been to value the house today for a priced to sell valuation - even if we take an offer there is possibly £20000 equity in the property - this throws a whole new complexion on things - dh was ready to hand house over for repo and go bankrupt - he owes £30000 What we need to know is can we sell at the estate agents valuation without comeback if he goes bankrupt in the near future - selling would give us our six months rent up front - we do want to move out of the house as our mortgage will become unaffordable in the future.
