Tuesday 24th April - What Small DFW Things Will You Do Today??!
kjp
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important!
Good morning lovelies!
Going with positivity today as it seemed to work yesterday, hopefully will work again today!

Morning all! thanks to kjp for starting off this morning.
bt - did your phone come back to life?
I get paid tomorrow but I got my payslip yesterday and it was exciting because my overtime came to slightly more than I thought. This means I can put the other £200 towards the holiday I am being forced to go on and I can make a nice juicy cc payment too, which is a good job as the car insurance has gone onto it (cheaper to put it on cc and pay that monthly than to pay the ins company monthly)
So today I must:
Check online banking to see if car ins payment is showing on the card yet
Check onepoll (only a pound to go!!)
Lunch from home again (doing very well since I have been posting on here)
Dinner from stores - possibly salmon?
Charge phone at work
Play with spreadsheet and plan payments tomorrow
Post letters that I didn't post yesterday and scan proof of no claims to send to new insurers.
More overtime.
Not so much today but tomorrow is going to be a long list!
Good luck all!LBM 11/06/2010: DFD 30/04/2013Total repaid: £10,490.310 -
