Hello,
I am after a loan for £15,000 to buy a car and consolidate a couple of smaller loans. I have applied for three this morning and been turned down by two and I am waiting to hear back from one, but I am not hopeful.
I have never missed a payment on any of my loans and by consolidating the ones that I have I will actually be paying around £150 less per month. I would have thought that someone would want my interest!
I am reluctant to apply for anymore as it obviously goes on your credit record. I joined the Experian online credit profile for the 30 day trial and I came out with a score of 752 out of 1000, which placed me in the 'fair' category.
Has anyone been in a similar situation to me? Did they get accepted on any loans? And if so, who with?
Thanks!

I thought I would try with my bank, Natwest. I have completed the online application and it says that I have been accepted in principle, but the second stage of credit scoring will take place when I return the paprwork they are about the send me. I assume that this means I have not been credit checked with any of the agencies yet. How likely am I to get the loan? I had to input information about my incomes and outgoings, so I assume that they are happy with that.0
