Today I have spent £33.26 on the main grocery shop of the week....I will have to buy a few more fresh bits & some soya milk during the week, so probably another £5 or £6 on top of that so well under the £50 weekly budget for groceries.
I am still abstaining from the weekly budget thing though for the moment.
Good luck to all who have set a budget however.

            Hi everyone
I set a target of £5.00 for this week and managed to only spend £5.00 this week due in part to the fact that I've been ill for the last couple of days and have not gone out at all. I will set another target of £5.00 this week.
Thanx

            Hey all!
I budgeted £0 and spent £0 altho it was very difficult but am proud that i managed it. Budget for next week will again be £0.0 -
OMG I can't believe that I said I'd manage on £20. Spent nearly £25 in Boots on essential medicines. As I have got absolutely no intention of going to work this week (feel as if I'm dying!!!!) I'll budget for £20 again. Surely I can do it this week.....0

Hi can I join in? I've not done this before. I've just got a bill for papers, so that will be about £8.00, I'll probably buy a coffee at uni tomorrow, and maybe on Tuesday too, and pay for pilates on Thursday. I've already got food for the week and petrol budgeted elsewhere, so if I say £15, and aim to come in less than this. This is just the motivation I need!March 2016 - £178,914.59; July 2017 £146,160.38
Mortgage end Sept 2043; Target - pay off by March 2022, now Sept 2021
Target balance July 2018 £112,5600 -

This week the wallet is going to take quite a bashing. Birthday meals on Wednesday and Thursday, big night out after work on friday and another birthday night on saturday. I also need to buy a new hard drive for my laptop. If I get away with spending less than £300, I will be happy.
I'm going to try and set myself some targets :-
Transport : £28
Lunch : £35
Social : £65
Total : £128
The new hard drive will have to be seperate as I havent worked out what to do yet.
Here's last week's thread for you TheBoss
