Maybelline Illegal lengths mascara

I tried this today and really liked it, I bought it this afternoon and put it on over my No 17 one just to try it out and straight away there was a huge difference in length, I have just stopped wearing false eyelashes so this looks like it could be a good alternative, I put a couple of layers on and was able to remove it easily with normal cleanser, it didn't flake either.

I'll wear it on its own tomorrow and report back but so far so good, its on offer in Tesco too - hope this helps in our never ending mascara quest;)

Its going well, but its taking a bit of getting used to, I loved the pale look but felt weird so now I am a very pale tan which is working for me, eyelashes are no longer fake and I have lost a few pounds, this is easily the best thing, however I am now counting the days until my Botox/filler appointment after which I'll update the original thread, thanks for asking:)

In Boots they're selling the Illegal Lengths mascara with a free Max Factor smokey eye eyeshadow pen, if anyone fancies that. The eye shadow's very nice, but I'm waiting till I'm out of my current mascara to try the mascara. Glad to hear it's good!

Just in case anyone boycotts Nestle, they own Maybelline. ;)

Are you sure you don't mean the free eyeshadow pen when you buy Max Factor mascara (as oppose the Maybelline mascara)? Or is there a glitch I'm not aware of?

Whoops, you're right. What a plank! I could have sworn it was the Illegal Lengths one which I'd be meaning to try anyway. Sorry.

Ok, so I put the illegal lengths on bare lashes this morning and it really is impressive, the brush is on the thin side so its easy to get to even the bottom lashes and it dries quickly. I wouldn't say its super volumising but I am used to fat lashes however the length it gives and then the volume after 3 layers was really very good and looked pretty. So far there is no flaking or smudging even on the bottom and its stayed put even with my oily lids/skin and its raining too:rotfl:I give this product an 8/10 so far and I might upgrade that after a whole days wear and depending on how it comes off later:)

Last update - the mascara lasted really well all day, my eyes were watering in the wind and it flaked slightly but nothing too bad (its not waterproof anyway) it came off really easily with normal cleanser. I'm a bit put out as I have stock piled my No 17 mascara while it was on offer:mad: but now I really do prefer this product, I'm sure I'll manage to get over it though;)
