Jeans for size 18?

Hi,

I'm posting on here in desperation!

I love wearing jeans, smart, dark coloured denim, mainly with heels.

However, at size 18 I find it hard to locate any!

I've been wearing Tesco jeans, which at £10-£12 are a bargain, but they have deteriorated in quality recently and they are so thin my thighs wear through them in just a few weeks.

I am looking for better quality jeans, and I'm more than happy to pay a substantially higher price, but I don't know where to look :(

Levi's were my first port of call but they only go up to 16.

Can any one out there make any suggestions, please?

Thank you!!!

i love stuff from Fatface - but I only buy from there in the sales.......

I am currently sitting in a really comfy pair of their cords - £48 reduced to £15! They wash brilliantly!

    Try:

New Look - good quality jeans, several shape options, don't wear out quickly
Evans - IF they fit your body shape. I'm an hourglass and Evans are mainly made for pears and apples, so I can't wear their jeans, but I'm told they last well.
yoursclothing.co.uk - excellent jeans. Sturdy material, great fit, excellent price. My current favourite jean supplier, because they also do a 34" inside leg which I really struggle to find!

    Hope this helps!

Could also try Very catalogue. Got a few good pairs out of there over the years, again usually in their sale.

Agree over Evans Jeans. I have some cords that fit beautifully and Jeans that are HUGE round the waist.

OP - Worth checking some of the catalogues. I have some lovely jeans from Grattan that are 5 years old now.

I get mine from Dorothy Perkins, I used to be an 18 and found they fitted perfectly. They range between £15-£30 .

Try the M & S Per Una Roma bootleg jeans. If you are a genuine size 18 you probably will find a 16 will fit.
They come in various colours and weights of fabric and it seems to change constantly. I've got a high waist and most jeans in younger brands sit very unflatteringly just above my pubic bone and even worse just under my paunch !

I agree... the skinny flares are especially nice! I'm losing a bit of weight at the moment and have found the Primark ones to be pretty good, only got the skinny flares and skinny jeans, but them seem to hold up well

    I will second New Look

The issue for me is that the (3) stores by me do not seem to have a large range of size/lenght combos. So, I tend to try on any leg length for 'size' and then order off the net.

Usually some delivery codes available, and I think you can get free delivery to a store, but can't quite be sure on that bit!!
