If you really want to get a car of that kind of value your best bet is probably a lease agreement. Depending upon the car this may actually be cheaper than buying it with a loan, taking account of deprciation etc.

Thats assuming its a new car, a new golf circa £20k can be leased for £247 so a lot cheaper than a loan over the same period.

I don't think ever owning the car is on the table.
The end game appears to be to buy a £20k car, export it and make a quick buck.

Having "only" one Credit Card may work against you too. It is better to have lots of accounts, all managed very well and all well within your means (clearing them every month)

Having too little information to gauge you against can be as bad as having negative information on you.

I obviously missed something. I didnt realise exporting from the UK was profitable, especially if you need to take a loan out to do it.

You were on a 50K salary last time you posted this question ie two days ago and you have exactly the same credit score as your partner?

Very astute - I thought I'd condense my issue and ask again rather than the longer version yesterday that didn't really come up with any options...although same responses today and nothing terribly optimistic. But thanks for your time anyway guys - I'll try sort out a plan B.

So you basically asked the same question again despite you were given answers yesterday.

Are you going to rephrase the question for a new thread ? or ask plan B question ?
