Hi.
So after having an offer accepted on a house I applied for Chelsea BS, 5 year fix at 3.49%, 1495 arrangement fee (300 odd upfront).
I have a 48% LTV ratio and a great credit score.
My AIP came immediately then after a week and a half of 'awaiting processing' they have called me today to say that they cant lend in this area. Which really suprises me because its a nice area...
They said they will be refunding the money paid so far.
So now i am thinking of applying for the post office 5 year at 3.69%.
Is this the right way to go or should I be going through a broker? I would have thought i am low risk?
thanks
