Who is a member of Maximiles ?

Options
I got this email yesterday
(x), Get FREE £20 credit to spend on luxury travel with Secret Escapes - Register Now!

Collect 40 points when you register for Secret Escapes

Did anyone else get the same email ?
Have you registered ?
Did you get your points ?

I'm fed up with signing up for offers that don't credit so thought I would ask about this one first.

I'm a member, but I hardly ever use it and I have it linked to a different e-mail address so I will check and get back to you.

I have had this offer before (I think it was on Maximiles, but theres so many of them now I could be getting confused), but I remember that it DID credit and I did get the £20 added to my secret escapes account

Are you thinking of starting a Maximiles thread too, or is it too much work ?

Too much hard work but we can use this thread to chat about Maximiles :)

I'll give it a go then. I've done several "maximiles" offers before now and haven't had them credit, one was for 300-400 points I think.

Ha ha, I don't blame you Cally. If I knew enough, then I'd offer but I rarely bother with it now - its something I need to get back on though.

TBH, I mainly used it to watch the videos and do a couple of questionnaires, but then someone told me that you couldn't get Amazon vouchers on there so I packed in.

Apparently, you CAN they are just hidden and its only in a £35 capacity - you need 8400 miles.

Really don't know if this is achievable to be honest.

How do you keep track of what you have filled out to know if they are creditting ?

    It's a £30 voucher for 8400 points.

    or £50 voucher for 14,000

I got a £30 voucher last December, I had about 2,000 points left and now have 8,200 points.

I don't respond to email registrations or sign up to anything on the site, I only watch videos and do surveys.

Ooh thats good to know. How long do you think it took you ?

I haven't used any of the surveys yet, I might give a few a go later on - I'm a bit surveyed out at the minute

It doesn't seem to be taking me long to build up points this year.

Some times I get 2 or 3 surveys a week and other times I don't get any for about 3 weeks and I don't always qualify for them.

I miss the points from mysupermarket though, that used to be a good help for building up points.
