I opted out of the state pension many years ago (SERPS) and am now being offered MyFolio Managed Funds by my provider Standard Life. Does anyone have experience/advice on which fund if any it is worth changing to?

Those funds automatically switch your investments as you get closer to your specified retirement age, assuming that you will buy an annuity. They are sometimes useful if you want to do that, else bad.
There are probably a hundred other funds available to you as well. Which investments are you currently using for your money?
How much drop in value would you accept during a bad year (the UK's main stock market index can drop 45-50% in a bad year and drops 20% quite regularly, while still growing on average).
About how long until you plan to retire?
Do you plan to use an annuity? Use income drawdown instead?0
