Crb Check

About 30 years ago me and my sister were taken to the police station by our mother because someone had stolen money out of her purse. The police spoke to both of us and told us that stealing is wrong etc. However we both denied doing it. It wasn't me who did it. And my sister to this day denies it was her. We were never arrested only got taken into a room and got a a telling off. We didn't have to sign anything and weren't given a copy of anything. My question is would it show up on a crb check?

Assuming this thread isn't a wind up:

I very much doubt it. You weren't charged, you weren't given an official warning, and it was a very long time ago!

No this is a genuine thread. I promise you. Yes we were really taken to the police station by our mother because someone had stolen money out of her purse. Btw it was a £1. that is one of the reasons we don't speak anymore!

Are you seriously worried about this?!? You really shouldn't be!! And no, it won't affect a CRB check. However - it's really sad that this is a reason you don't speak to your family 30years later...please make up with them, even just a little bit. :)

Even if it did show up on a cRB check, an employer would look at your situation individually and make a decision partly based on the fact that it was 30 years ago.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.
