At 40, can I use/access my pension for something now in a SIPP

I have a small £15k pension that is not and will not get added to.

I am 40 and would like to try and utilise something with this money. Are there any property deals or investments I can do that will make use of this now rather than having to wait and get hold of this minimal pension at 60?

You can buy commercial property within a pension, including using a mortgage for up to half of the purcahse price. The amount you have is far too small for this to be a viable option.

You have plenty of investment options available within a pension. Perhaps a few tens of thousands of choices, depending on the specific pension product you have.

For a normal personal pension it is currently possible to take the lump sum and income from age 55.
