How does the Tesco misprices work

Hi all!
Ive just recently joined mse so i am a little new to the tesco misprices saga but have been reading your posts with much interest.How has the mispriced policy changed is it double the difference now or has that changed?
Also something ive spotted a £5 pair of ladies slippers went through at £3.50 didnt spot this until a few days ago yet according to the receipt id spent £19 with this slip it but i needed to spend £20 in order to get extra cc points yet it went through!

HI, and first of all, welcome to MSE. I can only answer the first part of your query. The policy used to be refund and retain, which meant if you were overcharged, they refunded you the full amount and you kept the item. The policy has now changed to Double the Difference which means they refund you double whatever the overcharge was. Hope this helps. :beer:If at first you don't succeed ........
