Couple of Q's - does this include Newcastle Brown?
And how intelligent is Tescos computer system as I dont want to get robbed by putting through several offers in 1 transaction. As its 3 for 2 (cheapest free), say I buy 3 x £3 packs and 3 x £5 packs. Will it do me the cheapest 2 for free (saving £6) or will it do me 1 £3 pack free and 1 £5 pack free (saving £8) as it would do if I made 2 seperate transactions?0 -

I would think it would take 2 x of the cheaper and smaller £3 packs off if you put them through together.
Do two seperate transactions, put the smaller ones through on one transacation and the larger together on the second transaction.0 -
If that's how it works and you have to create 2 transactions then that's a rubbish computer system!
Such a fundamental question with 3 for 2s but I can't find an answer to it anywhere.0 -

That depends what side of the fence you are standing; from a commercial point of view (i.e. Mr T) it would be a rubbish computer system to needlessly give money away. After all the offer is buy 2 and get cheapest free.
I know that B+Q had 3 for 2 on paints and I had to take back 6 bought together so that I could buy them in two groups of 3.0 -
 I bought a 24x 440ml case of Stella on Sunday for £15 in Tesco although I believe there is a general huff over their decision to drop the strength to 4.8%0

No such thing as a 500ml bottle of Hoegaarden AFAIK. Just 330ml and 750ml.
This is a great offer. I usually buy the 750ml bottles which have been on offer for £2.50 each, which is usually better value than the 4x330ml would be.
But this time round, buying 12x330ml (3 4 packs, 3 for 2) for £5.98 is better value per ml than 3 750ml bottles, which are also 3 for 2. More packaging but cheaper, bit illogical. Yes, it's delicious, and I bought 12! Cheers OP!0 -
Many thanks :beer:0

Thank you OP. My partner managed to get 3 packs last week and went in again today and got 6 more packs at his local. He is enjoying it right now.
