I want to order a fridge from JL, will whoever delivers it unpack it and take away the packing materials? Or would I have to order the "installation" for that to happen?
TIA

" We're also very aware of the need to dispose of old products legally and responsibly, so we offer disposal services - and we'll remove packaging from your new appliance and take that away for you for free. "

I would ask customer services by e-mail so their answer is in writing

I had my fridge delivered from John Lewis last year. I had standard delivery without any "installation" options. The men who delivered it took away all the packaging with them - they were quite happy to as they were aware that not everyone is able to easily dispose of the cardboard and polystyrene etc.0

Had a dishwasher delivered last week and they called about an hour before to give me a time and asked if I wanted them to unpack it, they took away the packing no problem.0

Why don't you phone John Lewis and ask them?0

John Lewis have always taken away all packaging etc from electrical items I've bought from them. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
