250g of proper butter (nothing else will do in this house) at the 99p Store.
They have opted for a slightly different 'shape' - a flatter, more elongated rectangle, but it's still the full 250g.

Is it salted? As I only like salty butter! xTo repeat what others have said, requires education, to challenge it,requires brains!FEB GC/DIESEL £200/4 WEEKS0

Thanks Op, I'll check if we have one of those shops.
If I have to get unsalted, I sprinkle a bit from the salt grinder onto the bread, that way I can still use the butter for cakes.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

No, 'tis the salted variety. The only variety for the discerning butter eater.
Unsalted is one step away from lard, or 'pig butter' as I refer to it in company.0 -

Well in that case, here's a moneysaving tip-use lard instead. Bet you won't notice the difference....;)0 -

Aldi has 99p butter at the moment too.0

Asda has Anchor butter 250g for £1.00 at the moment. Have stocked up on a few for the freezer. Much nicer than margarine spread IMO.0
