  • Still trying to work out what is wrong with these and where a corner has been cut. Steel boned corests are usually hundreds of pounds and for good reason (I have tried to make some!), is there a reason why these are so cheap please?
So so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead
    Hope sharing saves some pain.

If it helps I bought one from them on ebay (canal boat trading) - figured since it was so cheap it was worth a punt. Have to say I was extremely pleased with quality and have had no issues with it - that was couple years back. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to try a corset but doesn't want to spend a lot of money. The steel boned ones give a lovely waistline :)

If you read their about me page it explains a bit the fact they are mass producing them (ethically) in Delhi is the main reason why they are so low the ones you are talking about that are £100's of pounds are usually bespoke or tailor made and 1 seemstress will spend hours making one corset thus charging for their time
i know my mum makes curtains and people are surprised at her costs compared to the ready made ones you get in the shop but what you are paying for with her is her hard work and one to one design and fitting

re being cheap - if it doesn't specifically say steel boned, it's not and there is a huge difference.
if you want to wear these like a 'proper' corset they don't work -
generally these ones are a hard plastic type which works well, but will bend so you do spill out more, and when you take it off - you end up with it pushing out at the bust and the hips..they also have a metal section at the clips which makes a very straight line and not a curved figure (from a side view).

if you just want a tiny bit of shape enhancement or to wear it for a brief time, or have a perfect figure without the need for a corset they're great,

if your actually looking at waist training or something to really give you full corset support and curves it's worth spending the extra on the steel boned

the fabric and stitching is great quality on them all though - i realise i sound like an advert but have about 5 of these in various forms and as long as you know what your getting they're great value :D

I ordered 3 yesterday, today I have a cancellation email for 2 of them, The annoying thing is that the one they are sending was my 3rd choice (free) one. Have asked them to cancel whole order but I suspect it may be too late. Very disappointed as the one they are actually sending is not one I would have picked if only ordering 1.

That's no good flo22, if I were you I'd cancel the entire order. I didn't order anything (was very tempted) as I don't feel I have the necessary va-va-voom :o!

Me too but I am not brave enough! (Plus my arms are a bit too 'baggy!' at the moment! Need to do some weights and then maybe next time!).
