Some time ago, I hunted for a free meal planner template to print off and either laminate or stick on the fridge. This one was the best I found so I thought I'd share for those of you interested in weekly meal planning (there's also monthly and 2 weekly planner):

I always wonder about the massive spreads you see on American movies - two people can be sitting there and there will be 6 plates of food. One of those meal planners has space for three sides per dinner, so those movies may be fairly accurate0

I suppose it depends on how you think and shop, as well as how you eat. To some people, meat dish is the main served with spuds/rice and two veg as sides.
The meal I had last night had 3 sides and very yum it was too.however, it wasn't planned but was more "I fancy ........"

Oh, yes I suppose when you think about it most meals have sides. But I'd probably just write "Dhal with aubergine curry and chappattis" rather than Aubergine curry with two sides. I was thinking people tucking into a full plate of dinner, each dinner plate surrounded by three side plates :rotfl:0 -
