don't mean to sound dumb but what happens exactly when it happens??? I mean, when we had that exlipse of the sun a few years ago it got all dark and the animals went to sleep and stuff for ten minutes and then it was daytime again .... but its dark already ??? :rolleyes:

lol!!! the moon will go bright orange as the earth completely covers the moon with its shadow. the orangeness is caused by light from the sun being refracted around the earth through its atmosphere.

The Moon goes dark, as it's in the shadow of the Earth.

You really need a white filter on your camera to be able to take pics of a full moon.

Wow, I didn't know there was going to be an ecilpse tonight! Will need to look out of the window soon. But not until the third play of Time Warp is finished... I've just about mastered the steps!

Curly straws will do for me. I like the umbrellas cos you can play the "spin the umbrella" game. Would work with a Bacardi Breezer bottle too of course(!)
