Bread & butter pudding not set - help!

I'm making Jamie Oliver's bun & butter pudding. It's been in for the required time but the top isn't crispy nor is the custard set. Any ideas?

Are you sure you've got the oven at the right temperature?

You could give it another 10-15 minutes and see what happens.

New flat, so the oven might be temperamental. Ah well...

Moved it to the lower oven, which works fine. It's set now and brown on top. Will see if it's OK when it's rewarmed tomorrow.
