Wowcher deals - not happy

I bought a bus tour through Wowcher but was not long after diagnosed with Breast cancer and as well as numerous hospital scans, visits etc, I am booked in for a mastectomy very soon.:eek: I have been unable to use the voucher because of the hospital appts and forthcoming operation (s) and The Bus Voucher runs out on 5th July which is impossible for me to use as i will still be in recovery. WOWCHER has refused a refund DESPITE me sending proof of my cancer and operation :mad:. How nasty can a company be? I cannot now work so money is precious.

I totally sympathise with you but what you need to remember is that Wowcher are in many respects acting as an agent for the bus company. What I would suggest is you contact the bus company directly. It's unlikely they will offer you a refund but I'm sure they would be willing to extend the voucher deadline given the extenuating circumstances. Something to look forward to in the better days ahead.

Failing that is there anyone you could sell it to or better still give it as a gift.

They obviously don't have a heart. Hope you manage to get it sorted. Good Luck in your treatment & operation:)

Wow, that is so awful! I would go with the MSErs advice on calling the bus company direct and asking for an extension. Failing that generally I found if you keep calling in the end they give in and refund you - that is what I did with groupon and in the end they caved (and I didnt even have a very good reason!) Wish you better...

I am not happy either. I ordered a knife set in July. It has still not been supplied. I have written to both Wowcher and Gadgetsandproducts.co.uk repeatedly asking them to respond with an expected delivery date or a refund but to no avail. They just keep saying its not in stock yet. This was my first experience of shopping on a voucher website and it has not been a pleasant experience. I have now told them that I will be sharing my experience with others on consumer formus such as this so hopefully their business will be affected. Their failure to provide the goods ordered and to ignore my request for a refund is a shocking way to conduct business. I would NOT recommend 'Wowcher' or 'Gadgetsand products' to anyone.

I totally agree, Wowcher is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I ordered a watch 6 weeks ago and after paying for the p&p everything went quiet. No reasonable explanation why I hadn't received what I paid for and merchant says its been delivered but no proof of postage and I just want a full refund, guys don't get stung. I spent 47.00 on my watch with p&p but when every penny counts it unfair when companies like this can take money from hard working individuals and not have a care in the world.

If you paid by credit card then you may have some cover through the credit card company.

i believe u may actually have cover with debit cards aswell and if you paid through paypal open a dispute
