Cashback sites

Hi, I'm surprised there isn't a forum dedicated here dedicated to cashback sites. Anyway, I recently used topcashback (TCB) to purchase a couple of items. Neither item tracked automatically. I had to raise a complaint in order to get the cashback for one of the items, which thankfully seems to have processed and, hopefully, I should be due a payment in a few weeks.
As for quidco, I've never even seemed to be able to get registered on to their site let alone have anything track.
Anyway, my point is that it seems that the entire purpose of these cashback sites is to rely on consumers to buy through their site and then give up/forget about their due cashback, whilst of course claiming the cashback from the original company. This seems entirely unethical and I'm surprised that this conduct is allowed to happen. I mean, as newbie to a cashback site such as quidco or topcashback, what are the statistical chances of my first two purchases not tracking...?
I'd be interested to hear others' experiences of using these sites...?

Yes, I'm aware of how the cashback sites work. I was explaining my experience of them and was wondering how typical this is.
Anyway, moderator, please could you move my thread to the Referral forum. Thx.0
