Northern rock - capable of a 2 week decision?

Hi,

The house we were supposed to buy fell through at the last minute due to the seller deciding not to emigrate.

We've had an offer accepted on another house however they want us to complete in 4 weeks, 6 weeks max.

Northern rock took 6 or 7 weeks with the offer last time, are they capable of going from application to offer quicker if the completion date is in only 4 weeks? Or should I just go with another lender?

Help much appreciated.

Many issues can arise during the buying process. Not just the mortgage application. So there's no way you can give any assurance.

Northern Rock are not the quickest as you found out.

Would expect the adviser just to change the property details though, so should be quicker..

If you have to start from scratch for whatever reason then may not be sensible....
