Makro, please help!

Hi
Just wondering, ive a lend of a makro card to use in the store at Dunmurry, is this possible can i say i've been given it to use? or does it need to be the card holder using it?

I have not been to Makro for years but I think the last time I was there you had to show ID. Maybe others could confirm this.

A Makro card is for the use of the person/company named on the card. When you reach the till the card is swiped. If you are paying in cash there should be no problem; however if you are paying by credit/debit card and your name is different to that on the Makro Card, your purchases may be queried. If it is registered in the name of a company you could say you are an employee. For example my card states my place of work and my name beneath it.

on entering they dont ask you for the card now. At check out you just give the Makro card. They dont ask for ID.

The card is swiped at the till, Ive never had to show i.d or anything and paid with my OH's card

There should be no problem paying with a different card. Ive sent people up with mine and you can have multiple cards for one business (they had a promo this month with temporary cards to give to friends/employees).

Ive brought other people up with me and they have used my makro card with their own credit card so shouldnt really be a problem.

The store was revamped and relaunched a couple of weeks ago so is well worth a look now.
