  • At the front of the shop a double rail of male, female and children's clothing, all at £1. Got a leather belt, for OH, for £1, down from £10.
  • Christmas wrapping paper now down to 10p a roll for 4 metres. Our store in Craigleith Edinburgh has a lot of the deer in snow paper left. I always wait until the second reduction :)
  • A double pack of OXO Good Grip veg peelers reduced from £10 to £4

I bought a 4-slice toaster I had my eye on, reduced from £35 to £10.50. Unfortunately there was only £5 off the kettle in the range, but I bought that too.

Also a Sony Bravia 40" TV for the bargain price of £300 - a good spec, and the right size for my bedroom, so no complaints! Had been looking for a while on Gumtree, and this BN one was just too good an offer to resist.

Spicy chili flavour pork scratchings 20p hanging on clip strips in the booze section. Normal flavour still £1. They are not the rock hard scatchings of old.
Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)

Plenty of £5 and £10 reductions on many toasters and kettles at my local but nothing like your 4-slice bargain. What range are they from ?

On another note did pick up one of these tonight :T

Reduced from £160 to just £32 (and used a £2 off £20 so only paid £30)

£160 is probably a bit high (RRP), but £120 seems to be quite common place

Cook's collection, and yes although I was watching for the price to hit rock bottom (there had to be some compensatiion for the poor discount on the kettle!) I realise I was lucky.

The electric kettles are now back up to full price - £30 for the one I bought, but others are £25.

If you can find one then they have Sennheiser HD449 Headphones which are sold between £60 and £90 depending on retailer for £25.

Each store will only have one, there will be no price label as they are left over from sale and are not normal store stock.

    They look like this
    http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3142013.htm

There are cheaper headphones in store so make sure they are the ones with the diagonal metal strip on the cans.

Oh and don't bother with Longbridge, Oldbury, Northfield, Castle Vale and Selly Oak I bought the one from Oldbury and Longbridge and the others do not have one never make a special trip.
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.
  • I bought a 6 pack of brita water filters for £7.20
