Copper wiring - recycling

Not sure if anyone can help, I have a lot of copper wiring for recycling for my local school.
The company I used last time gave me a rubbish rate per kilo, so was wondering if anyone has any experience of any others and what their kilo rate is currently?
I'm based in Surrey, so would need someone in this area..

strip it and sell it as 'bright and you'll get a lot more

My electrician has started selling all his waste cable so it must be worthwhile.
Good news for me as it means he now cleans up after himself
