So I have MBNA and my direct debit is due on Saturday, will it be taken Friday or Monday?

Monday I would say, all my payments that land on the wkd are paid after the weekend.The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!

They should always take them on the next working day. I say should....Credit Card (Mar 2011: £11,171; Mar 2012: £14,494; April 2012: £13,329)

You may find that they charge it to your account over the weekend. So if you have any money in tehre you won't be able to get it back.
