No cigs since Sat midday!
I just saw this and I want to shout WELL DONE!
As can be seen from my signature I've quit since the 4th January. I can't deny that I've had the odd slip up, but if you do, don't worry about it, pick yourself up and start again afresh. I've saved about £700 so far which is more than I've spent on food. You can do it!
Okay...enough of me sounding like communist propaganda...
A spend of £1.84 in the corner shop. Squash and chewing gum (my vices at the moment!). I guess I had best update my signature.

Good morning,
was planning on going to town today but it is too miserable out there (the hair wash can wait another day :rotfl:)
Am on day three of my meal plan. For some reason I cannot meal plan but hve made a real effort this week. I did attempt to change it on the first day cos I fancied something differentbut as I have written the meal plan on the cupboard, my OH knew what we were having and told me that we had to stick to it! He is finally getting it i think.
On another note, we recently were given two chickens and I want two more but DH said no until we reach our target savings. So I went through all my penny jars and bagged it all up to make £23 - the chickens are £26 so I need to find £3 and I can go and get them this weekend :T. It felt really good not just buying them cos I want them but actually working out where the money was coming from
And on that note......have a nice day. Pizza and JPs for tea tonight.

Well done Jedi! I've got a 'summer holiday treats' pot that I put odds and ends of silver in and the odd note. I counted it yesterday and couldn't believe how much it had built up. Just think of what you can do with all those eggs!
NSD for me today, have DD home poorly. So am going to make a massive bolognaise with lots of added lentils and veg in the SC and some flapjack. I'm afraid yesterday's crumble was sooo good we ate it all, oops!Make £2020 in 2020 £178.81/£2020

Morning everyone had a few spends yesterday in the soft play area, i also forgot to add in the £1.79 i spent on food bags on sat from lidl altogether it's £7.24, then £7.99 we spent of fish and chips when we were away on monday, so far i'm at £29.14
Gonna have a quicky tea tonight of sausages, waffles and beans (oh so healthy)
I decided not to include the meat i bought in my 2nd purse, it was bought with abit of extra money we had been given and i already set myself a very tight budget this month the difference in that and my normal budget more than makes up for the meat.DEC GC £463.67/£450

Ohh I thought NSD was when you spent no money at all. Next month I might try having GNSD (Grocery NSD) and NSD just out of interest.
I'm here to report a £90.12 MT spend. Another big one.
I bought the book that someone recommended, sorry can't find the post again - Low cost living by Jonathan Harrision for my kindle yesterday £4.08 but I'm not adding that to the grocery budget. Don't really know which budget it is going to come out of then. Have only just started it but looks good so far."Never ascribe to malice that which is adequately explained by incompetence."Weight loss challenge:j: week 1~ Napoleon Bonaparte
