I only get 10 chances a day, so codes are rare for me, and I give them to people on PM who've sent them to me (I think your name is familiar from there maybe?) but I've not had one in weeks... I must be due something soon!

The problem is that you do not even have to be a member of MSE to view the thread and take a code.

I get the feeling that is what happens when the post is not thanked, they are more than likely being taken by non- members.

I was not signed in when I viewed the thread, I only signed in in order to thank the post after I input the code.

Don't you need to be a member to subscribe to a thread though? The codes are going SO fast sometimes, literally within seconds, then it must be someone getting an e-mail instantly when the thread is updated.

But there are thousands of gift hulk users who probably check the thread on a regular basis, not just in the UK but the USA as well.
