Hello, I'm a start up cake company. Am getting business at the minute mainly through word if mouth but would like to increase my customer base. Does anyone have any thoughts as to wether leaflet drops are worthwhile for this type of business? Thank you in advance!

What sort of cakes are you making? What would be your target audience? Leaflet drops can work as can ads in local papers, but it is so dependent on many factors.
How do your competitors advertise?
Two advantages of word of mouth, it usually proves your product/service is good and it's free.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
Small Business Board good place to discuss this sort of thing.
