  • If you want to learn more about the different indexes and their context, read post 19 by the highly distinguished and esteemed member Hamish_McTavish, Crashy.

Alternatively, ask silly Graham, he's an expert in the field also :rotfl:

What have I stated that's particularly wrong?
Once again it's clearly the North East skewing the figures, not London. :)

You'll note Hamish stated "once again, the North East skews the figures". I disagreed. He's been able to suggest on this index, the North East skews the figures (just, marginally).

He noted his error, and quickly concentrated solely on this index.

Was what I stated, in reply to his "once again" (suggesting it happens on all index's) wrong?

If so, tell me how. Until then, i'll leave you getting seriously overexcited about the whole thing and making an absolute mountain out of it. The very fact you have to make quite so much of it shows how utterly desperate you are you make me look silly....I don't know your reasons, but you've obviously got some.
  • What have I stated that's particularly wrong?

Mixing ONS and LR data, maybe?
But by now, you've realised that too, haven't you?
Why do you continue to squirm with inane posts (larger homes in London :)) digging an even deeper hole for yourself? Trying to save face?

He noted his error, and quickly concentrated solely on this index.

This thread was about ONS figures from post 1.

Right, so you completely ignore everything I talked about regarding the context? Lovely.

    Usual occurance this ignorance, eh!

This thread was about ONS figures, but what Hamish said clearly wasn't.

Graham - the London increase is only slightly higher than the South East excluding London (just 0.5%) amount, however the North East drop is somewhat greater than any other area. I don't think it's disingenous to say the North East is skewing the data here.

While I sit here on my fence, some might say it's the south that's skewing the figures.
