Are there Mortgages for Garages?

Hello,
It's been a while since I was here, but I thought if anyone would know this - it would be someone here!
I currently pay £80 a month to rent a garage for my camper van.
I've seen one advertised near to me for £10k.
Basically, is it possible to get some sort of Mortgage to buy a garage? My credit rating isn't brilliant, I lost my job just before Christmas and I'm looking for a full time job at the moment (I'm working part time and topping up with benefits till I get something full time) But, I am paying £80 a month as it is, and if I did default, then I'd lose the garage anyway.
Is this a non starter? I'm thinking it probably is, but you never know.....!

I'm not sure if there are mortgages for garages if you were buying a block of them as a business venture, but lenders don't do mortgages under £25k so you wouldn't be able to get a mortgage on a single garage. A loan to cover the purchase would be the only way to go and you obviously aren't in a position to think abut that right now.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
