Small Pension for Transfer - Advice sought!

Hello
I joined a company with a good pension plan, and my contributions were taken out of my wages. I left the company after 8 months and they are informing me that they will not hold on to my contributions and wish to transfer them back.
However, for some reason 2 of the 3 options presented are not available to me, (cash transfer, transfer into another company pension plan (this has been bounced by my new company)) - the only option appearing to be a transferral into a personal plan.
However, I can't seem to find anything that will accept just a small lump sum (between £1500-£2000) and not regular contributions (I have a new company pension, and other pensions stowed away in previous employments...).
Is anyone aware of any products that would take this - or at least give me some search terms I could plumb into a search engine!
Thanks in advance!
Pete
