Hi,
I'm having an issue streaming or downloading large files. In each case ONLY when wireless it stops after about an 8th of the stream/download. I'm using ntl 10mb broadband with a 'g' router and USB toggle. My connection shows I'm still connected at 'excellent' strength due to me only 12ft from the router (other end of room). I'm using XP pro. Any thoughts please?

Ahh. Wifi.
I spent time drilling holes and annoying the wife for this very reason. Wif sucks at anything other than surfing / emailing.
I gave up in the end and went the hard wired way. Now I can even stream dvd's over my network with no problems.
Not much help with the wifi problem but it was my solution, sorry.

Depending on your router and wifi security settings rapid data exchange can be seen as a hacker attempt and can make the router/wifi card close down. Also check any firewalls you have installed..0

The firewall on your pc? What about the settings of your router's firewall if it has one?"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
