Extra £10 for trade in at Game

Game have a promotion running that if you trade in 3 games you get and extra £10 credit. My son has got 3 of his older games that will only get a couple of quid ready to take in.

I thought game went into administration and wasn't honouring gift vouchers etc.?

I've probably missed that they've been bought over:o Not watched news lately.

They did but it was mostly the Gamestation stores that closed. This in instore credit so you can get a new game at the same time.

I saw a poster outside a GAME store last weekend stating that gift vouchers were being accepted again.

I posted about it on the consumer rights board but I don't think anyone read it

We did this when they ran the same promotion with their remaining Gamestation stores 2 weeks ago. If it's the same sort of thing then it will be in store credit only or onto a gift card (bit dodgy considering what recently happened). We opted for in store credit and got £75 credit for trading in 6 games. Spent it on a few recent games that we would probably have bought at full price at some stage. Good swap if you ask me.

shame this isnt on ps2 games my son could have changed some of the ones he had

May be worth looking at Cex if you have one nearby as they usually pay more than Game to begin with.

Such pessimism (sp?). Given that there are a couple of game shops floggin off old copies of FIFA 19xx for a quid. Surely if Game have a game you want, buy 3 of these and trade them in straight away againat the game and save yourself £7

i have found that if you get a price from cex or game and pick the higher one gamestaion will always try and beat it :-) x

in the terms and conditions it states you can't trade in 3 of the same game at the same time

just got my old games out to take in just for the £10
