Are you a non-UK resident?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
Why this thing about residential property? It seems you are hell bent? If you want property in your pension you can invest in commercial property via a Sipp.
with a 400K pot, don't you have assets outside your pension you could use for this? you certainly can take a 25% tax free lump sum to fund a property of 100K.
In any case, this 25% lump or the invesmtents outside the pension could be used to gift children now if you are worried about leaving them something. Not that I rec it though.0 -
