Thank you Elphaba :A. Bleeding seems to have stopped overnight but I'm really worried it's all gone wrong so I will call the midwife as soon as she gets in to work and hopefully I can be sent to EPU to see what's going on. I've had no pain which is a good thing, but last time it was a couple of days before it really got started.

Can't believe I'm facing it all again. I'm 12 weeks tomorrow and thought I was over the danger bit now .

Thanks Scottish. No, first scan is tuesday 20th so I have no idea what's going on in there. Last time I bled at 8+5 but baby had stopped growing at 6weeks. I'm petrified something similar has happened. I've still got all the symptoms though and have even had to stop in the middle of typing this to be sick. Xx

Sending you hugs, ring the midwife as soon as you can and get them to check you out, fingers crossed its just a false alarm, lots of ladies spot during pregnancy and hopefully thats all it is.

Total wild goose chase! Couldn't get hold of a midwife but found the number for the hospital early pregnancy midwife. Rang her and she suggested getting my GP to refer me to EPAC for a scan today, so I rang Doctor's surgery to be told no Drs appointments today but they would ask one to ring me. GP rang and agreed to refer me, but when she rang hospital they can't see me until Friday morning :(

Until the I've been told to rest (!!!!!!!) and go to A&E if bleeding starts again and is heavy or accompanied by pain. Feel in limbo.

Oh Lucky - hope you're going to be ok. Sending hugs and positive vibes your way. When I was 2 months pregnant with my DD I had a bit of bleeding. Doctor "tactfully" said it was my period arriving very late. 7 months later DD arrived! So hopefully something and nothing.

Actually a couple of days resting on the sofa will probably be of more benefit than rushing into hospital, feeling very stressed.

Now is the time for DH to step up; doing all the cooking, childcare - including entertainment and getting up in the night with DS2.
Hope he's up to it. You stay put except for trips to the loo; just yell when you need something done..

It's nerve-wracking, but the odds are in favour of a good result - as long as you stay calm in mind and body.
