Unless by chocolate cake you mean brownies then I would follow an earlier poster's advise and send the sponge and icing separately for self assembley on arrival. That way you can cling film the sponge(s) and put a paper plate or circles of thicker card top, bottom and in between and not have to worry about damaged icing. Buttercream with cocoa in makes very chocolatey icing!0
