    When I was little we used to go to Portland bill and chuck a line and a hook over and the mackerels were fighting to get on it- like everything else, they are probably protected now...just gut them and slice an onion and a tomato, wrap in tin foil and bung in the oven...:)

    My rods still back in Ireland, must get it sent over. Cant help ya with Mackrel either, I enjoyed it but was never very good, athough I was fishing for salmon.
    This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

    North East Coast - Try Feathers - Worked a treat in my childhood at Blyth.

    Used to pull Mackeral in 8 at a time - 7 on the Feathers and one on the weight!

    I have my opinion but what are yours ?

    Someone (possibly here) has on their linkedin account their full name, photo and the mystery shopping company and roles they work as a shopper and auditor for... along with other jobs
    am i wrong to think that we should keep the role of what we do fairly well mystery and keep our identities the same.
