Just completed my 2nd assignment which I think went OK, however I've just noticed on the receipt it says "order modified after total"!
It wasn't! This was at a chicken eatery.

Do you think they'll reject my results now?

The fine dines done by Service Scan are top notch. The reimbursement is over a ton and the food is lush. Just ask Misssarahleigh, she accompanied me on one of their dines!

I fell for that. Send them an email to cancel and politly explain having now read the full notes you feel the fee is to low for the work.

Maybe I'm being silly but I don't see the problem?

They reimburse you for the item and postage to the MS company. Then you get the fee.

1. You keep the fee, plus you keep item worth £x. Net value = fee plus item.
2. You keep the fee, but you have to buy an item, package it up, go to the post office and send it back to the company taking up more of your time. Net value = fee - extra time spent.

No brainer really.

The polite is optional, I've never dealt with as venomous and mean spirited a bunch as that crowd.

Thanks misssarahleigh, Lil_Me, N.I.M... yes I'll try and send them an email, I hope they'll take it nicely! Do you know if cancelling a job affects my Shopper Rating?

money savings my game: as Lil_Me has said, it's one thing to get paid the fee + keep the item, and it's something else to have to return the item and not get to keep it! I'm used to doing jobs that allow me to keep my purchase as well as get paid for it

O ok yeah I see it from that view. I was just thinking that going to the post office wasn't that big of a deal but I can see how it might be. And as for the clothing, the reimbursement suggests I wouldnt get something to my liking anyway.

Ah don't worry... I did a jewellery store this morning. Didnt press record on my phone. Just find it easier that way. Good job I remembered most of it.

Happens to us all! you find you make less and less of these mistakes as you do more of them. However, even after 18 months doing this the same thing happened to me and I had to abort and redo the assignment! Anyone on here who says it never goes wrong is lying!
