Don't bother, is my advice. Unless you are never, ever ill, in which case go right ahead. I had to cancel a job once as I wasn't well, they put me on to a manager who spent half an hour berating and patronising me until I was on the verge of tears. Horrible company, couldn't be happier to see them lose a client. Too bad it was to MF, but at least it wasn't RA!

Sorry to hear about that pet. I got a roasting once for being ill too, but that was from the woman who picked the phone up. Only good thing I can say about them is the mileage.

RA are not too bad. If you pick and choose, you get some good reimbursements like petrol and free shirts etc. I wouldn't go anywhere near the toy shop/electrical shop/100p shops though.

getting one is hard enough, getting two the chances must be less than 5%.

Well getting yesterdays results correct (Poland 1-1 Greece, Russia 4-1 Czech) was a massive 336/1. So that £10 would have returned you £3370.
It's not going to happen is it?

Most people taking that job must just see it as a free bet. Only it's not free. You'll more than likely lose £2 on the bandits, and then you have to do the report as well.

    But good luck to them...........mugs.

Dude, Retail Active suck more than an octopus with a Dyson in each arm, caught in a tornado. And I'll not hear another good word said about them.

I admit I enjoyed the mileage from them too - it allowed me more than once to pick up work that would normally be out of my way! But that manager was just unforgiveable in how he treated me on that occasion :(

As for RA, there isn't much work for me in their area, other than the laughable stuff like their electrical and pound shops - I'll have to wait until I move to mimiland later in the year to see whether they have other and/or better clients and jobs :p But the solicitor work is reasonably paid (although I'm sure that's because they share the client with someone else!) and the pharmacy jobs were alright, especially if you could make a circuit - on saying that, it's been six months since I've done one of them!

Not really for the alerts thread so I'm posting here. Premiums now showing on Gap.

The MF reimbursement only betting shops are now appearing for me too. Short of laying the bet on betfair I can't see any possible attraction in them.

RA are a real mixed bag. Some duds but the solicitor I did was a nice job as are the petrol and chemist. The station jobs are OK if the reimbursement is of use likewise the cheap german. The other jobs are not so great for me. Found the ladies in the office fine though I know that is not everyone's experience.

I personally like RA. The girls in the office have always been lovely and they have always paid up on time. They have one client who it is definitely worth keeping in with them for to get these jobs. Got one coming up later in the summer-can't wait! Those who have done these visits will know who I mean!;)
As for the other jobs, if you don't like the fee, don't take them!

    Woohoo!
Just got broadband back after almost 3 weeks with a useless dongle. (briefly-was moving house, cancelled everything, then didn't move and couldn't be reconnected) Caught up with the chat now, so hello again :)

Well, I've not got much work needless to say, as by the time I was logged on, I was definitely slowest finger last...
As an aside, I have been trying to pass the Bare audit test for months (not continuously, just as I remembered it) Every time I fail the final question-what to do if I'm refused permission- the correct answer being get the letter signed, leave and contact Bare. I've tried various combinations but they all fail. Anyone got any ideas?
