Hi, (never posted on this thread before), I've been doing jobs for GAP for about 3 months and they've just emailed to say that I have had my account cancelled and that I am unable to reapply? They haven't given a proper reason? I have had no problems with any of the jobs that I have done and they were ringing me every week to offer me more work? Has this happened to anyone else?

Many, many people. Gap seem to have a clear out of shoppers every now and again with no particular reason for the decision.

Valid point and I am one f those who gets upset at poor fees but sometimes these jobs with relatively high reimbursements can work. It is slightly different from a visit and refund return for the price of a pack of fags
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

This used to happen a lot and if I remember rightly it was always a mystery as to why certain people were sacked by them. I've been with them for 5 years and this morning had 3 jobs cancelled by them for no apparent reason, including one that I completed and submitted a couple of days ago!

I'm a bit concerned that this could also be the beginning of the end for me and Gap :(

Can I put in a little request. Can whoever does the new thread just put a quick note in capitals and bold against the eating company that cannot be named and put something like AKA EATING COMPANY THAT CANNOT BE NAMED? It's on the first page and I think it would save a lot of hassle/repetition for anyone who wants to know who they are. (I'm sure the said company won't mind to much if they have a Facebook page). Also, that company is not "all that" as you have to travel far and wide to get your points up, and then you are on a rotation for the restaurants when you have a lot of points!

    Done :D:D

I have SEQ soloutions showing in my bank account. Is it RA? [It's the only one I can think of as I've never been paid by them before...]

Not had any jobs from GR for a while. I've got all my postcodes set to various shopping centres etc, and have done over 100 jobs for them, but lately it's been quiet. So I rang them to see what's going on.
The posh supermarket jobs have stopped, the Spanish banks have been cut back, and the slapper stores have been limited so they cannot be re-shopped month after month.
Anyone had any jobs from them lately?

Having the same problem - only one offer of a job since February which was snapped up by someone else within seconds. If it stays like this, they are a waste of time.

Cheers. They don't make it easy for us do they?!

& talking of GR - I had the first job pop up for over two months this morning, and it was snapped up straight away. I miss the slapper jobs. :(

Has anyone else noticed that the Italian brothers restaurants on MF have suddenly had their reimbursement's cut but you still have to order all the same things? I only did one last week at the higher reimbursement and it still only just covered the cost of what I was expected to buy! With nearly a third wiped off that's another job I won't be doing again in the future.

Not quite, you are no longer required - actually, allowed - to order a starter. Of course, the reduction in reimbursement is more than the cost of two starters! I think now, even ordering all the cheapest options possible, there's no way you'll stay within the reimbursement limit. I think MF and the client hope that people will just eat like normal and treat the reimbursement as a sort of 'voucher'.

I think I might be going there on Monday for my birthday. If so, I intend to make a point of ordering off the specials menu, having jugs of cocktails, complaining about celebratory music (as it'll be for me and I'll be embarrassed :o) and using vouchers, if I can find any. And most importantly, enjoy not doing a MFing report afterwards! :D
