djdave - you quoted me but you clearly didn't read what I said - that you can manually pre-cache.
I think you're saying that you can sit at home and precache over WiFi for example, but what we're talking about is having the ENTIRE map on the device all the time, like a traditional sat-nav, so no cacheing is required.
Enterprise - there's a big update coming that incldues this, as well as much better 3D mapping. Not sure when.
