I am not sure where to post this so sorry if it in the wrong place.
Is Experto Credite Ltd a geniune Credit Company?
I received a letter from them today saying i owed £106 to Avon. I have never owed avon anything, i was a representative for avon for a while like 10 years ago but left with owning nothing so this really concerns me.
I have called avon and they have given me the number for avon finace department but its closed but i just wondered if anyone knows about the company.

Thankyou for your response, I will wait and see what avon says tomarrow to see if they have me on record of owning anything and then go from there.
It sounds very weird to me especially when i have never had a debt with avon (Just a representative). ive heard nothing from avon in 10 years or ever heard of this company before today.
Its really worrying me and making me feel ill0 -
Honestly, you have nothing to worry about.
By the sounds of it, most likely it's not your debt. So apart from giving Avon a telling off and telling them what they can do with it, there is nothing to worry about.
In the unlikely event that there was something that you owed them connected to your time as a rep, then it would be statute barred by now. Meaning that they can likewise take a hike.

Update:
I am pleased to report that i received a letter from Experto Credite Ltd? today stating that they couldnt provide me with the information i requested and the debt was from March 2005 and because of the information i put in the letter the case is now closed.
Thanks so much for all your help i am so pleased. Still not sure what this debt was though but at least now its closed. Will file the letter and keep to be on the safe side.0 -
